Today is December 15th and that means Jared and I will be flying to Ireland in 25 days... yikes! We have been running around like crazy trying to get everything done, wearing ourselves out - naturally, we both came down with the flu. So much for being productive this week. One thing I can do though, while my body is aching, is start a blog.
I have been wanting to do this for quite some time, but I always second guess myself and end up thinking that whoever reads it is going to end up terribly bored or disappointed. It was only after 5 or so people suggested that I start a blog to keep everyone informed of my life that I really started considering it. So, here is my very first blog post. Not too fancy. Not very interesting... but it is a post indeed.
Over the next year I will try to faithfully update my (Jared's too - not that I will ever be able to convince him to contribute to it) blog. Jared and I will be visiting Shannon Ireland, Dublin Ireland, Edinburgh Scotland, London England (hopefully), Rome Italy, Florence Italy, Venice Italy, Athens Greece, and the Greek Isles. It is possible that we will also visit Croatia and Egypt (just a short stop on our way back to the states). It is my plan to post pictures, updates, events, etc. weekly, but don't hold me to it. Those of you who know me know just how busy I tend to be. I do bring it all on myself though. You know, I plan to change that over the next year. What will possibly keep me busy when I have no friends or family in Europe, and no more seasons of Lost to watch? I will most definitely have time for a blog... right?
